Tell me how thqat compares with the inov-8 you bought? All you need is a low heel and to run properly, front/mid foot strike and you're away. The expensive gimmic can't b worth it.
You make a good point Robert and my gut reaction is to agree with you. Having said that I’ve worn the Newtons twice now and on the first occasion I took over a minute off my 5k PB; on the second I put in my quickest interval session of the season. The inov8 is by far the better shoe for the vast majority of the running I do but I really didn’t fancy pounding 26 miles of tarmac in them. I’ll be able to give a better assessment by the end of October.
